Wimbledon officially begins on Monday, which is also Canada Day! Here’s all the latest news from social media leading up to the tournament.
After eight long months, the comeback is almost complete for Vasek Pospisil. You can see the Canadian in action for the first time since October at Wimbledon!
Sadly Day 1/Canada Day features an all-Canadian matchup between Pospisil and fellow-Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime. You can bet that I will be bright and early to witness the match on Monday!

The defending champion is back in his old stomping ground. World No. 1 Novak Djokovic wants to be one with the surface. He can do whatever he wants, since it’s obviously working…

Denis Shapovalov got a chance to practice with World No. 1 Novak Djokovic earlier in the week. The Canadian must have picked up something from the Serbain because he beat the defending Wimbledon champion in straight sets at the Boodles exhibition event.
The 20-year-old went on to go 3-for-3 beating Fabio Fognini and Tomas Berdych as well. Hopefully that success translate to the All-England Club.

In a perfect world there wouldn’t be ball girls or boys, just ball dogs! This dream is still a work in progress… but I remain optimistic.

John Isner has not played a match since April due to a foot injury. The World No. 12 is making his return at the All-England Club. This downtime gave the American extra time with his daughter Hunter.

There has been a trend recently with Bianca Andreescu and beautiful vacation spots. This one is no different. Everyone needs to go to the Grand Canyon at one point.
So magical.

Auger-Aliasimme continues to take the tennis world – and business world! – by storm.
If you need a watch the Canadian has a pretty good recommendation.

I would have loved Simona Halep as my tennis teacher when I was a kid. What’s even better is the World No. 7 loves taking time to give back to her young fans!

Birthday girl Donna Vekic attempted to get a workout in, but had to take a break… the reason being an adorable dog. It is very difficult not stop and pet a cutie like this one.

Amanda Anisimova was a massive story at Roland-Garros. Her semi-final appearance helped her jump 25 spots from No. 51 to No. 26 in the world. She found time to relax afterwards in Spain and doesn’t want to be disturbed.
