National Bank Open presented Rogers to host mobile vaccination clinic at Sobeys Stadium

August 5, 2021

Tennis Canada is delighted to offer every single ticket holder that comes to the National Bank Open presented by Rogers in Toronto the opportunity to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Thanks to an alliance with Humber River Hospital, Trillium Health Partners and Toronto Public Health, the tournament will host a mobile vaccination clinic onsite at Sobeys Stadium which will be available to fans for the entire week of the event’s main draw. The clinic will be providing first and second doses, with Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines both available.

“Tennis Canada is thrilled to be able to give fans the opportunity to get their COVID-19 vaccine at the National Bank Open presented by Rogers next week,” commented Gavin Ziv, Managing Director of the National Bank Open in Toronto. “Thank you to Humber River Hospital, Trillium Health Partners and Toronto Public Health for making this possible. We are delighted to be doing our part in ensuring more Canadians are vaccinated and protected in this essential step on our road to recovery from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“Humber River Hospital is pleased to be collaborating with Trillium Health Partners and Toronto Public Health in supporting another vaccination event in our community,” said Barb Collins President and CEO Humber River Hospital. “Thank you Tennis Canada for recognizing the value of easy access to vaccines and the importance of COVID-19 education.”

The Ultimate Dining Card can be used at over 1,000+ Canadian restaurants like Swiss Chalet, Harvey’s and New York Fries.
