Starting at 4 p.m., tennis fans will be treated to a clash of contrasts in the final of the National Bank Open presented by Rogers, as Hubert Hurkacz (8) of Poland takes on the unseeded Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain on Centre Court.
The 25-year-old Polish ace is one of the most powerful servers on the Tour. His serves are his bread and butter, and he’s got plenty of power to back them up.
As for the 31-year-old Spaniard, he’s an exceptional returner, an elegant volleyer and a backcourt master who makes very, very few errors.
While Carreno Busta is the man of the tournament, Hurkacz is the man of the hour.

On his way to the final, Hurkacz locked down wins over Emil Ruusuvuori, Albert Ramos-Vinolas, Nick Kyrios and Casper Ruud.
Carreno Busta dismantled Matteo Berrettini, Holger Rune, Jannik Sinner, Jack Draper and Daniel Evans. Without a first-round bye, he had to play one match more than Hurkacz.
After the singles crown is awarded, there’s still more tennis in store for fans in the ultimate showdown of the doubles draw.
Daniel Evans of Great Britain and John Peers of Australia will go head-to-head against third seeds and logical favourites Wesley Koolhof of the Netherlands and Neal Skupski of Great Britain.
